Full Description
Nikli Haor is located in Kishoreganj, just 3 hour's drive from Dhaka. It is distinguished by its surrounding water bodies, villages that float on the water like islands, bustling fishermen in fishing boats, and small wetland areas. The boat ride on the freshwater of the Haor will make you feel like roaming around the water paradise. The calmness and tranquility of this wetland are enough to take all the city hazards from your mind. The route that connects the four Upazilas of Nikoli, Mithamin, Itna, and Astragram in the district of Kishoreganj exhibits a unique beauty. During the rainy season, there is water on both sides of the road, and only Haor water can be seen as far as the eye can see.
At 8 am, you will be picked up from Dhaka and arrive at Nikli Beribad by 12 pm. From Nikli Beribad, you will make preparations for your boat ride. From Nikli Haor, you will ride to the exotic Chatir Char Swamp Forest. Here, you will catch a glimpse of a breathtaking, verdant island surrounded by azure waters. After your arrival on the island, you will be captivated by its stunning splendor and will be hesitant to leave the enchanted paradise. At 2 PM, you will have lunch at a local restaurant. At 6 PM, you will conclude the expedition and return to Dhaka.
