Full Description
Honey hunting amid the deepest forest is a wild adventure you might have watched in documentaries or films. What if you get the chance to do that with the local people? Just like the way they do in an exotic and natural way. Your quest for this adventure will start at sharp 9:00 AM from Mongla by boat towards Dhangmari Canal.
For generations, villagers living around the Dhangmari Canal have been collecting wild honey. It is the general term given to the collection of honey from wild honey bee colonies. You will reach the thrilling spot for starting the adventure at 11:00 AM. Hunting honey in the forests has the most thrills out of your imagination. The forest itself is a challenge. You will navigate through dense mangroves in search of beehives.
You will be headed to this adventure with a high level of skilled and experienced local tour guide. The local honey hunters use different shouts and buffalo horns to communicate. After getting this experience of honey hunting, we will return to the boat & start cruising back towards Mongla. The tour will be accomplished by dropping you off at Mongla around 2:00 PM. This activity will give you a lifelong amazing adventurous experience of collecting wild honey so closely.
